Crystal (Treatment Coordinator, Orthodontic Assistant, Community Outreach)
My passion is to serve. I find pure joy in assisting our patients and their families; Ensuring each of them feels comfortable with our office, are well-informed with the procedures being implemented, and are confident they will receive the best care in orthodontics. During the preliminary consultation, I assist Dr. DeSantis with breaking down the procedural processes by explaining treatment options and fees. I will be happy to thoroughly answer any questions you may have.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active through running, biking, and outdoor activities. I have been married for over 25 years and have four wonderful children. We have been a host family to several foreign exchange students and consider it a mission to bring joy to the lives of others through fellowship with family and friends.
Millissa (Scheduling Coordinator)
I love building connections with patients and their families at Atlantic Orthodontics. It’s rewarding to meet people at the beginning of treatment and see each become happier and more confident as they achieve a great smile! I work with patients and parents on scheduling appointments that are best for their schedule.
My free time is spent with my family and pets. I’m engaged to my best friend and am planning a wedding for April 2020. I have a 12 year old son and two cats and a dog. We often spend weekends going to the beach, movies, and working on our home in Palm Coast.
April (Chairside Orthodontic Assistant)
I really enjoy working with our patients as they transform their smile and change their lives. It’s amazing to watch each person gain confidence and become more outgoing as they see the change in their appearance. I work in the clinic: seating patients, preparing them for the doctor, and assisting Dr. DeSantis with patient care. I also track and order the clinical supplies.
Originally from Connecticut, I moved to Florida in 2012. I have a baby girl named Callie; she’s a red-headed Chihuahua and also a cancer survivor. In my free time, I like to shop ’til I drop, take trips to Disney and Universal, and host game nights for family and friends on the weekends.
Heather (Chairside Orthodontic Assistant)
I thoroughly enjoy the relationships I get to build with our patients and their families. They become an extension of my family and I’m so happy they’re in my life! Because I work as an assistant, I get to know everyone and love seeing each person’s new smile as it appears.
My husband and I have known each other since high school. We have an amazing, wild young son, an infant son, and are expecting our third child in December of 2019. We have a small petting zoo at home, which consists of two very rambunctious pit bulls and three cats. There’s never a dull moment! When time permits, we enjoy canoeing, fishing, camping, and exploring all that nature has to offer.
Kiersten (Chairside Orthodontic Assistant)
I love to see the amazing transformation in our patients smiles and confidence during their treatment. I work in the orthodontic clinic: seating patients, preparing them for the doctor, and assisting Dr. DeSantis with patient care. I also track and order the clinical supplies. I hope to see you at your next appointment.
I am happily married to my High School sweetheart. We have a beautiful two year old daughter and are expecting our second child in September 2019. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, go to the movies and the beach.
Vanessa (Public Relations Coordinator)
I love working at Atlantic Orthodontics! I enjoy setting up the local community events for the office. It’s fun to engage with and educate the community about how we change lives and answer questions about the treatment experience.
Outside of work, I love being with my husband Edgar and our daughter Neyzza. We have a dog, Chloe, and a dwarf hamster, Gray, too. We love to spend time at the beach, and swim, play volleyball, and travel as often as we can. We’re also active in our community with San Sebastian Catholic Church, Habitat for Humanity, and Epic Behavioral Healthcare facilities.
